  • God draws us out of the miry pit and sets our feet upon a rock.
  • His hand reaches down to deliver us from overwhelming circumstances.

  • We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
  • God has given us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, not of fear.
  • Fear has no place in the believer who trusts in the Almighty God.

4. The Ultimate Deliverer: Jesus, Our God

4.1 The Lion of Judah

  • Jesus is the mighty Lion, victorious over all foes and powers.
  • He is the King who triumphs, holding all authority and dominion.
  • His victory assures our ultimate deliverance and triumph.

4.2 Our Rescuer from the Pit

  • God sent His Word, Jesus, to heal and deliver us from our distresses.
  • Jesus is Lord and Christ, our Savior and ultimate Deliverer.
  • He delivers us from the pit of sin, death, and despair.

4.3 The Fullness of the Godhead in Christ

  • In Jesus, all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, making Him the complete God.
  • He is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.
  • There is one God, and Jesus is the manifestation of that one God to humanity.
