1. Following Jesus' Example of Prayer and Compassion

  • We should cultivate a life of prayer, seeking God's guidance in all decisions.

  • Jesus demonstrated compassion towards the sick, the poor, and the marginalized.
  • We are called to show empathy and practical help to those in need, reflecting God's love.

2. Living in Obedience and Humility

2.1 Obedience to God's Word

  • Jesus consistently obeyed the Father's commands, even to the point of death.
  • We must strive to live in obedience to God's Word, demonstrating our love for Him.

2.2 Humility and Servanthood

  • Jesus humbled Himself, taking on the form of a servant.
  • We should cultivate humility, putting others' needs before our own.

3. Sharing the Gospel and Extending Forgiveness

3.1 Speaking Truth in Love

  • Jesus spoke the truth with love and boldness, even when it was unpopular.
  • We are called to share the gospel and stand for righteousness, speaking truth in love.

3.2 Forgiveness and Reconciliation

  • Jesus forgave those who wronged Him, even as He was being crucified.
  • We must extend forgiveness to others, releasing bitterness and resentment.

4. Embracing the Fullness of Christ

4.1 Worshiping Jesus as God

  • Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, the one true God manifested in flesh.
  • We should worship Jesus as the one and only God, recognizing His complete deity.

4.2 Baptism in Jesus' Name

  • Jesus commanded baptism in His name for the remission of sins.
  • We must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, following His command for salvation.

4.3 Receiving the Holy Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, the divine presence of God dwelling within believers.
  • We must seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance.
