This curriculum is designed to help youth understand fundamental truths about God, salvation, and living a Christ-centered life, empowering them to grow in their faith and purpose.

1. Understanding Our Amazing God

1.1 The One True God

Verses: Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:6; Isaiah 45:5
  • There is only one God, and He is supreme.
  • God is singular in His being and power.
  • He is the first and the last, the only God.

1.2 Jesus: God Revealed to Us

Verses: John 1:1; John 1:14; Colossians 2:9
  • Jesus is God manifested in human flesh.
  • All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus.
  • He is the Word who became flesh and lived among us.

1.3 The Spirit of God Within Us

Verses: John 14:16-18; Romans 8:9-11; Acts 2:38
  • The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus, dwelling in believers.
  • God's Spirit empowers us to live for Him and guides us.
  • When we receive the Spirit, God Himself comes to live within us.

2. The Path to New Life

2.1 Repentance and Faith

Verses: Mark 1:15; Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38
  • Repentance means turning away from sin and toward God.
  • Faith is believing in Jesus Christ and His power to save.
  • These are essential first steps in our journey with God.

2.2 Water Baptism in Jesus' Name

Verses: Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16; Colossians 2:12
  • Baptism by immersion is for the remission of sins.
  • It is to be done in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Through baptism, we are identified with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.

2.3 Receiving the Holy Spirit

Verses: Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6
  • God desires to fill us with His Spirit, giving us power.
  • The initial evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues.
  • The Spirit empowers us for Christian living and witness.

3. Living a Christ-Centered Life

3.1 Separated for God's Purpose

Verses: 2 Corinthians 6:17; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 12:1-2
  • We are called to be set apart from the world's ways.
  • Our lives should reflect God's holiness and righteousness.
  • We transform our minds by renewing them with God's Word.

3.2 Walking in Love and Forgiveness

Verses: John 13:34-35; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; Ephesians 4:32
  • Love for God and others is the greatest commandment.
  • We are to forgive others as God has forgiven us.
  • Our love for one another shows the world we are Jesus' disciples.

3.3 Growing Through Prayer and God's Word

Verses: 1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • Consistent prayer keeps us connected to God.
  • The Bible is our guide for truth and righteous living.
  • Reading and studying God's Word helps us grow spiritually and overcome challenges.
