The Power and Significance of the Name of Jesus

1. The Authority in the Name
1.1 Jesus' Declaration of Authority
Verses: Matthew 28:18; John 5:22-23
- Jesus declared that all authority in heaven and on earth was given to Him.
- This authority is exercised through His name.
1.2 Exercising Authority Through the Name
Verses: Mark 16:17; Acts 3:6; Acts 16:18
- Casting out demons is done in the name of Jesus.
- Healing the sick is accomplished through the name of Jesus.
2. Salvation and the Name
2.1 Repentance and Baptism

- Repentance is a necessary step toward salvation.
