1. Freed from the Law's Condemnation

1.1 No Condemnation in Christ

Verses: Romans 8:1-2; Galatians 3:13
  • Through Jesus, we are released from the penalty of sin.
  • The law could not justify, but Jesus' sacrifice does.
  • We are not under law, but under grace.

1.2 Serving in the Newness of the Spirit

Verses: Romans 7:6; 2 Corinthians 3:6
  • We are released from the letter of the law to serve in the Spirit.
  • The Spirit gives life, while the letter brings death.
  • Our service is motivated by love, not legal obligation.

2. Liberty from Sin's Dominion

2.1 Dead to Sin

Verses: Romans 6:6-7; Romans 6:14
  • Our old self was crucified with Christ, breaking sin's power.
  • Sin no longer has dominion over us.
  • We are free to choose righteousness.

2.2 Set Free Indeed

Verses: John 8:36; Galatians 5:1
  • If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
  • Stand firm in your freedom and don't submit to slavery again.
  • Freedom is a gift to be cherished and protected.

3. Freedom to Serve

3.1 Serving One Another in Love

Verses: Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 2:16
  • Our freedom is not a license for selfishness.
  • Use your freedom to serve others in love.
  • Love fulfills the law.

3.2 The Perfect Law of Liberty

Verses: 2 Corinthians 3:17; James 1:25
  • Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  • The one who looks intently into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and continues to do so is blessed.
  • True liberty leads to obedience and blessing.

4. The Source of True Liberty

4.1 Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life

Verses: John 14:6; Acts 4:12
  • Jesus is the only way to true freedom.
  • Salvation is found in no one else.
  • He is the embodiment of truth and life.

4.2 Abundant Life Through Truth

Verses: John 10:10; John 8:32
  • Jesus came to give us abundant life.
  • Knowing the truth sets us free.
  • Embrace the truth revealed in Jesus.
