2. Casting Your Cares Upon the Lord

  • We cannot solve all problems or carry all burdens on our own.

  • His Word will not return to Him void but will accomplish its purpose.
  • Speaking God's promises aloud builds faith and dispels doubt.

4. Living in the Spirit's Strength

4.1 The Indwelling Spirit

  • God's Spirit dwells within every believer, making us His temple.
  • The Spirit is our Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in all truth.
  • We are empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

4.2 Walking in the Spirit

  • Yielding to the Spirit's leading brings life and peace, not anxiety.
  • The Spirit empowers us to overcome sin, fear, and negative thoughts.
  • Being filled with the Spirit is a continuous experience of God's presence.

4.3 The Fruit of the Spirit

  • The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, and other virtues within us.

5. Finding Peace in His Presence

  • Jesus gives us His peace, which is unlike the world's temporary peace.

  • Perfect love casts out all fear and anxiety.

  • He delights in us and rejoices over us with singing.

  • God is the God of hope, filling us with joy and peace.
  • He has good plans for our future, plans to prosper us and give us hope.
  • He will ultimately wipe away every tear and end all suffering.
