1. Responsibilities of Elders (Overseers)

  • Trusting in His love and provision, knowing that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

4. Resisting the Devil

4.1 Be Sober, Be Vigilant

  • We must be alert and watchful, recognizing the schemes of the enemy.
  • The devil seeks to devour and destroy our faith.
  • Maintaining a clear mind and a focused spirit.

4.2 Resist Steadfast in the Faith

  • We must stand firm in our faith, resisting the devil's temptations and attacks.
  • Knowing that our brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing similar trials.
  • Drawing strength from the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

5. God's Grace and Glory

5.1 Perfect, Establish, Strengthen, Settle

Verses: 1 Peter 5:10
  • After suffering, God will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us.
  • God uses trials to refine and mature our faith.
  • Trusting in His promise to bring us through every challenge and make us complete in Him.

5.2 Dominion Forever

  • To Him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
  • Acknowledging God's ultimate authority and power.
  • Giving Him all glory and honor for His faithfulness and love.
