1. A New Creation in Christ Jesus

1.1 Redeemed and Forgiven

  • I declare that I have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son.
  • I declare that in Him, I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

1.2 Made New and Transformed

  • I declare that I am a new creation in Christ; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

4. The Power and Significance of His Name

4.1 Salvation in His Name Alone

  • I declare that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, but the name of Jesus Christ.
  • I declare that God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.

4.2 Baptized in His Name

  • I declare that I have repented and been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and I have received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
  • I declare that when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

4.3 Authority in His Name

  • I declare that whatever I ask in His name, that He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
