1. Understanding Grace
1.1 The Nature of Grace

- Grace is God's unmerited favor, freely given to humanity.
- It is not earned or deserved but a gift from God.
1.2 Grace Through Jesus Christ
Verses: John 1:17; Romans 5:15
- Grace is manifested through the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
- His sacrifice provides the basis for forgiveness and reconciliation with God.
2. Receiving Grace
2.1 Faith as the Response to Grace
Verses: Ephesians 2:8; Hebrews 11:1
- Faith is the means by which we receive God's grace.
- It involves trust and reliance on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
2.2 Repentance and Grace
Verses: Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 7:10
- Repentance is a turning away from sin and a turning toward God.
- It is a necessary component of receiving God's grace and forgiveness.
2.3 Water Baptism and Grace
Verses: Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4
- Water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience and identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.
- It is an outward expression of an inward transformation and a part of receiving God's grace.
- It is to be administered in the name of Jesus Christ.

- The infilling of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in other tongues, is a promise for all believers.
- It empowers believers for service and witness and is a manifestation of God's grace.
- It is the Spirit of Christ.
3. Living in Grace
3.1 Grace and Holy Living
Verses: Titus 2:11-12; Romans 6:1-2
- Grace is not a license to sin but empowers us to live a holy life.
- It enables us to overcome temptation and walk in obedience to God's Word.
3.2 Grace and Service
Verses: 1 Peter 4:10; 2 Corinthians 9:8
- Grace motivates us to serve others and share the Gospel.
- It compels us to extend the same mercy and compassion we have received from God.
4. The Source of Grace
4.1 The God of Our Salvation
Verses: Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 5:19
- Salvation is found only through the one true God, manifested as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in empowering grace.
- These are not three separate beings, but one God revealed in different roles.
