1. The Transitory Nature of the Present Creation

1.1 The Passing Away of the First Heaven and Earth

2. The Revelation of the One True God on the Throne

3. The New Heaven and the New Earth

  • God will purge the old creation with fire to bring forth a perfect, sinless realm.
  • The new creation will be completely free from the curse of sin and death.

3.2 The New Jerusalem Descending

  • It is prepared as a bride adorned for her husband, symbolizing perfect union with Christ.

4. Eternal Fellowship with the Almighty

4.1 God Dwelling with Humanity

  • The ultimate goal of redemption is the direct, unhindered presence of God among His people.
  • Jesus, who became flesh to dwell among us, will eternally tabernacle with the redeemed.

4.2 The Eradication of Sorrow and Death

Verses: Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 25:8
  • All pain, crying, and death will be permanently abolished in the new creation.
  • The Lord Himself will wipe away every tear, bringing everlasting joy.
